Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington is offering a full-time Radiologist position for a fellowship trained interventional radiologist to join our team. This position is 80% Interventional with concentration in Interventional Oncology, Hepatobiliary and Urologic interventions. Procedures include complex peripheral arterial interventions, uterine fibroid embolization, GI/GU intervention, TIPS, RFA and Microwave ablation treatments, alcohol and Chemoembolization/Y-90. Twenty percent of the position includes rotation in body MRI, CT and Ultrasound.
Be part of a vibrant and thriving clinical service supported by an IR clinic with 2 dedicated ARNPs, 2 RNs and 1 MA. Clinical resources include 3 angiography suites, a separate biopsy service with a dedicated interventional CT scanner and 1 ultrasound procedure room.
The radiology department boasts an outstanding residency program, consisting of 12 diagnostic radiology residents. The candidate will be a part of the education and training team for radiology residents. There is potential for leadership roles in education and/or IR. Virginia Mason is world renowned for patient care and the Virginia Mason Production System (VMPS) that has improved outcomes and decreased costs. The candidate will have the opportunity to be trained in VMPS.
