A position is available for an ACGME accredited Neuroradiology Fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital - Columbia University Medical Center for the 2017-2018 academic year. This is a one year fellowship that provides comprehensive training in all aspects of adult and pediatric neuroradiology and head and neck imaging with an emphasis on new cutting edge technologies as well as comprehensive training in magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, myelography, arteriography, biopsies, and interventional neuroradiology. There are opportunities to learn advanced CNS imaging techniques such as quantitative MR spectroscopy, DSC perfusion MRI, functional MRI (fMRI) and diffusion tensor imaging. We have a world class referral base of neurosurgical, neurology, ENT and ophthalmology clinicians as well as very active programs in radiation oncology (including gamma knife), neuro-opthalmology, and neuropathology which augment the training program with numerous didactic and clinical case conferences. We have over 10 faculty members who are active in functional MR imaging (diffusion, perfusion, fMRI) and MR spectroscopic imaging and participates in a number of NIH-funded research grants using these advanced imaging techniques. The Neurological Institute of New York, the Children's Hospital of New York (CHONY) and New York Presbyterian Hospital provide a wide variety of cases from the tri-state region as well as national and international referrals. We have been ranked by US News Best Hospitals as the #1 hospital in New York for 16 years running.
