Breast Imaging at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics has an opening for the 2017-2018 academic year. This is a one-year non-accredited fellowship.
The fellowship will offer opportunities in clinical work, research, and teaching. As one of the largest teaching hospitals in the country, UIHC has a growing screening and diagnostic breast imaging program, including digital mammography, state of the art tomosynthesis mammography, breast ultrasound, whole breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and an active image-guided intervention program. UIHC has an established high-risk breast cancer clinic as well as a weekly multidisciplinary breast tumor board. Our faculty, fellows and residents come from all over the U.S. and countries outside, making the Iowa experience a diverse and welcoming experience. Our faculty routinely rank among the Best Doctors®, and graduates of our programs go on to serve distinguished careers in both academic and private settings.
Women and members of minority groups are strongly encouraged to apply. We currently accept one candidate per year.
