Magnetic Resonance Imaging Fellowship
The Department of Radiology at Michigan State University is accepting applications for a one-year MRI fellowship starting July 1, 2017 (1 position available). Applicants must have an MD or DO degree from an accredited institution and have successfully completed a Radiology residency. They must be eligible for board certification by the American Board of Radiology or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.
The fellowship offers MRI subspecialty training in Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal and Body and Breast imaging. The Neuroradiology rotation includes Head & Neck and pediatric neuroradiology. In addition to MRI, the Musculoskeletal rotation allows the fellows to participate in fluoroscopically-guided arthrography and therapeutic steroid injections. The Body rotation provides exposure to MR of the abdomen, pelvis, breast and cardiac.
The fellowship also provides 3 months of elective time allowing the fellows to individualize their educational experience. There is also dedicated research time for fellows to be exposed to scholarly pursuits.
