The University of Cincinnati Medical Center has one fellowshp position available in Cardiopulmonary Imaging beginning July 1, 2017. This fellowship is a one-year program available to ABR Board certified or ABR Board eligible radiologists who have completed an accredited four-year US radiology residency.
The fellowship is not accredited. No specialty board certification is available through the American Board of Radiology. This program meets the requirements and recommendations of the Society of Thoracic Radiology and will follow the STR Thoracic and Cardiothoracic Imaging Fellowship Core Curriculum.
The fellowship program provides comprehensive training in all aspects of cardiac and thoracic radiology, including digital computed radiography, direct radiography, computed tomography (CT), CT angiography, high resolution CT of the lungs for interstitial lung disease and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
The program is well-rounded with varied experience that can serve as a solid foundation for a career in either academic medicine or private practice.
Completion of an accredited 4-year US diagnostic radiology residency program. Must be board certified/board eligible (passed core exam) by the American Board of Radiology.
Additional Salary Information: Additional compensation for providing clinical shifts for faculty practice plan.
