Breast Imaging at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics has an opening for the 2018-2019 academic year. This is a one-year non-accredited fellowship.
The fellowship will offer opportunities in clinical work, research, and teaching. As one of the largest teaching hospitals in the country, UIHC has a growing screening and diagnostic breast imaging program, including digital mammography, state of the art tomosynthesis mammography, breast ultrasound, whole breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and an active image-guided intervention program. UIHC has an established high-risk breast cancer clinic as well as a weekly multidisciplinary breast tumour board. Our faculty, fellows and residents come from all over the U.S. and countries outside, making the Iowa experience a diverse and welcoming experience. Candidates must have completed at least 2 years of an ACGME accredited residency in the United States and be board certified or eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
