The Department of Radiology in the Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio is seeking a Fellow/Clinical Specialist in MSK Imaging. This position will commence on July 1, 2018 and end on June 30, 2019. In order to be considered for an appointment as a Fellow/Clinical Specialist the candidate must be able to secure a full Texas state medical license no later than January 31, 2018.
With nearly 400,000 exams a year, these dynamic programs provide in depth training and valuable experience in their respective specialties.
Educational rotations are available at the University Hospital (536 beds), University Clinic Imaging Center, Cancer Therapy and Research Center, the Medial Arts and Research Center and the UT Health Hill Country Clinic. Additionally our teaching hospitals and clinics are regional referral centers for South Texas and include Level 1 Trauma, oncology, Surgery, General Medicine and Organ transplants. We state-of -the-art imaging equipment that includes 7 multi-detector CT Units, 9 MRI units, 16 color Doppler ultrasounds, 3 Lunar Prodigy DXA scanners, 2 Fluoroscopy rooms, Digital 2-D mammography, 1.5 and 3.0 Tesla MRI and new Fuji tomography.
